PRP for face

What is PRP?

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is a medical treatment that involves using a concentrated form of a patient's own blood to promote healing and tissue regeneration.

Platelets play a crucial role in the body's natural healing process by releasing growth factors and other bioactive proteins that stimulate tissue repair, collagen production, and blood vessel formation. By concentrating these platelets and growth factors in PRP, the therapy aims to accelerate healing, reduce inflammation, and improve tissue regeneration.

What is PRF?

Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) is a natural treatment utilized for skin rejuvenation, hair growth stimulation, and wound healing. By harnessing the body's own resources, PRF injectables offer a completely natural approach to enhancing skin vitality, fostering a youthful, radiant complexion.

What's the difference Between PRP & PRF?

Both PRP and PRF requires a blood draw. Following the blood draw, it will be centrifuge it, causing the separation of red blood cells, white blood cells, plasma, and platelets. PRF notably boasts a higher concentration of growth factors.

The PRF treatment employs a slower spin speed, allowing some white blood cells and stem cells to remain within the platelet layer collected for treatment. Unlike PRP, PRF does not utilize a blood-thinning agent in the blood collection tube, ensuring the treatment is composed entirely of your blood/plasma.

PRF necessitates the removal of a smaller volume of blood from your body and offers enhanced efficacy over time.

Benefits of Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) & Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF)

Skin rejuvenation: PRP contains growth factors that stimulate collagen production and promote tissue regeneration, resulting in improved skin texture, tone, and elasticity. This can help reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and acne scars, leading to a more youthful and radiant complexion.

Natural treatment: PRP therapy utilizes the patient's own blood, making it a natural and safe option for skin rejuvenation. By harnessing the body's own healing mechanisms, PRP can enhance skin health without the use of synthetic or foreign substances, reducing the risk of adverse reactions or allergies.

Increased skin hydration: PRP therapy can improve skin hydration and moisture retention by promoting the formation of new blood vessels and enhancing nutrient delivery to the skin cells. This can result in softer, smoother, and more hydrated skin, reducing the appearance of dryness and dullness.

Reduced pigmentation issues: PRP therapy has shown promise in treating hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone by promoting cell turnover and melanin regulation. Over time, PRP can help fade dark spots, sun damage, and other pigmentation irregularities, leading to a more even and luminous complexion.

Accelerated wound healing: PRP contains factors that facilitate tissue repair and regeneration, making it an effective treatment for speeding up the healing process after certain skin procedures such as laser resurfacing, chemical peels, or microneedling.
